RIAA wants to appeal on contested jury instruction
16 10 2008The 2,000 Jammie Thomas file-swapping verdict was set aside recently by the judge, who now has second thoughts about a jury instruction he issued. The RIAA, which has no plans to drop the issue, is now pushing for a federal appeals court to look at the “making available” issue underlying the instruction.
