Samsung Hits Back at Apple, Files Patent Suits in 3 Countries

If its latest earnings report is any indication, the company that makes the iPad, the iPhone, and the iPod has a veritable license to print money.
That’s a good thing. Because, as it turns out, Apple is spending very good money to wage huge legal battles against its rivals.
Its latest courtroom foe is Samsung. The South Korean electronics giant Samsung Electronics Co. said Friday it filed patent infringement lawsuits against Apple in Seoul, Tokyo and Germany. The move was an apparent response to Apple’s suit against it over trademark issues in the U.S. earlier this week. Click here for the WSJ story.
